The Rocky Mountain House real estate market saw a drop in October home sales compared to the same month in 2023 – but were fairly steady from the previous month.
That’s according to the latest Market Update from Central Alberta Realtors Association which shows 10 units sold last month in Rocky Mountain House, down slightly from 11 units sold in September, and down from the 17 units sold in October 2023.
Year-to-date numbers show 124 units sold in Rocky Mountain House so far in 2024, tracking closely to the 126 units sold during the first 10 months of last year.
The average sale price in Rocky Mountain House last month was $312,480, down from $321,500 in September and up from $292,397 in October 2023.
Meantime, the average number of days to sell a home in Rocky Mountain House in October was 74, tracking with the 73 day average in September, and on par with from 74 days in October of last year.
In Clearwater County, there were 18 units sold last month, down from 29 sold in September, and down from 28 units sold the same month in 2023.
Year-to-date numbers show 223 units sold in Clearwater County so far this year, up from the 209 units sold to the end of October last year.
The average sale price in Clearwater County in October was $397,478, down from $506,595 in September, and up from $382,575 in October 2023.
The average number of days to sell a home in Clearwater County last month was 81 days, up from 77 days in September, and up from 70 days during the same month last year.
