Winter weather hasn’t gone away quite yet as a snowfall warning has been issued for much of the West Country.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the precipitation is expected to start this morning with heavy snowfall at times.
The Rocky Mountain House, Crimson Lake, Leslieville and Nordegg areas are all expected to receive 10 to 20 cm of snow.
ECCC says the snowfall is expected to end by this evening.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate. ECCC says to be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
Elsewhere, Red Deer and area at this time appears to remain unaffected by the warning. However, the Rimbey area will see an abundance of snow.
