The Alberta Golf season is underway with the Sundre Golf Club hosting two major events in mid-May.
The course hosted the Alberta Golf Best Ball Championship on Monday May 19.
Ryan DenBraber and Mickey Spencer from the Glendale Golf & Country Club near Edmonton beat Logan Graf and Cole Bergheim from the Red Deer Golf & Country Club on the first playoff hole to win the 2025 Alberta Best Ball Championship.
Both pairings shot 9 under 63 in regulation to end up in a playoff. On the first playoff hole with Bergheim and Graf in trouble, DenBraber knocked his approach shot to the fringe at the back of the green and made the two putt for the victory.
