There’s no better way to start a summer morning than with a pancake breakfast—and for residents on the north end of Clearwater County, there’s one close to home
Frisco Community Hall is hosting its second annual free pancake breakfast on June 14 from 9 a.m. to noon. The event is open to everyone and will take place at 72080 Township Road 405A, just north of the Highway 22 and 12 intersection.
“It’s a good time for socialization and you don’t have to cook,” said Devon Simmelink, board chair at Frisco Community Hall. “We just wanted to bring together some new people and neighbours for a good time of socialization.”
Last year’s inaugural event drew about 60 people, and organizers are hoping to welcome even more this time around. Volunteers will be on hand to flip pancakes and keep the coffee flowing, though Simmelink said extra helping hands are always welcome.
In addition to classic pancakes, gluten-free options will be available.
“It turned out pretty good last year,” said Simmelink. “We’re hoping we can have a few more than that this year.”
The breakfast is free of charge and designed to be a simple way for community members to connect. No registration is required.
