The Rocky Health Foundation says it was happy to receive another generous donation of $50,000 from Paramount Resources.
The donation is part of a five-year commitment from Paramount. First announced in May 2024, Paramount Resources will donate $300,000 to the foundation over the next several years— starting with $100,000 in 2024, and $50,000 in each subsequent year.

Foundation chair Shirley Hopes says the funds will go toward needs identified in the Rocky Mountain House Health Centre’s operating room.
Meantime, Hope says the foundation’s most recent initiative — Heart of The Community — is “very close” to reaching its goal.
The $440,000 campaign aims to purchase new cardiac and patient monitoring equipment to enhance patient care and services provided at the Rocky Mountain House Health Centre.
She adds, the campaign goal is so close that equipment has been ordered, but hasn’t arrived in Rocky yet.
The organization successfully met its previous goal of of raising more than $750,000 in the Healthy Hospital Campaign.
