Residents of Rocky Mountain House and Clearwater County will have several opportunities to vote ahead of the municipal election set for Monday, Oct. 20, 2025.
Advance voting in the Town of Rocky Mountain House begins Thursday, Oct. 9, with two opportunities to cast a ballot.

Thursday, Oct. 9: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Town Office (5116-50 Avenue) and the Lou Soppit Community Centre (4733-54 Avenue)

Friday, Oct. 10: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Town Office

Saturday, Oct. 18: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lou Soppit Community Centre
In Clearwater County, residents also have a chance to cast their ballots ahead of the official Election Day on Monday, Oct. 20.
- Monday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at both the Rocky Regional Recreation Centre and the Caroline Community Hub
On Election Day, voting hours in Clearwater County will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Eligible voters must vote at the polling station designated for their ward.

To be eligible to vote in either jurisdiction, residents must be at least 18-years-old on Oct. 20, be a Canadian citizen, and reside in the municipality where they plan to vote. All voters are required to show authorized identification proving both identity and current residence.
In Rocky Mountain House, vouching is permitted under the Local Authorities Election Act. A voter who has valid ID may vouch for another voter’s address, provided both meet eligibility requirements. However, anyone who is vouched for may not then vouch for someone else.
Residents can check their voting eligibility at www.voterlink.ab.ca. Official election results will be released on Friday, Oct. 24.
