Once again, West Country residents are invited to recognize friends and neighbors who are leading the way in responsible land management and environmental stewardship.

Nominations are now being accepted for Clearwater County’s Environmental Stewardship Award & Sustainable Grazing Stewardship Award.

The annual awards formally and publicly recognize community members who demonstrate positive stewardship qualities and practice on-the-ground change.

The 2025 winners were Rick and Loraine Northcott.

The 2026 awards will be announced March 6, 2026 at the Denim and Diamonds ceremony at the Lou Soppit Community Centre in Rocky Mountain House.

Other awards will be given out from the town of Rocky Mountain House, the Rocky Chamber and Discover Rocky.
