Eckville residents can provide feedback on what they would like council to focus on over the next four years.
Town council is developing Eckville’s 2026–2030 strategic plan, which will help guide where it focuses its time, energy and resources.
The survey asks residents how often they use town-operated facilities such as ball diamonds, the arena, spray park and dog park.
It also asks residents to rate the quality of town facilities and includes a space inviting suggestions for improvements.
Several questions focus on infrastructure, including roads and sidewalks, and ask residents how satisfied they are with municipal services.
Residents can also provide feedback on public safety, including the town’s policing and bylaw enforcement models, and how safe they feel in the community.
Another section asks about health care, including access to medical services at Eckville’s Akamihk Medical Clinic.
The final section asks residents about trends they are noticing in Eckville and how they picture the town in the year 2030. The end of the survey includes an open-ended question: If council could focus on only one priority over the next four years, what should it be?
After the survey closes March 31, 2026, council will review the feedback, develop a draft strategic plan and share it publicly before it is finalized.
