The Rocky Chamber of Commerce Trade Show returns May 1 and 2, with organizers expecting a busy event.
Chamber officials say more than 50 vendors have already signed up, offering entertainment, shopping, services and local information.
A new feature this year is an attraction for young visitors. “We are really excited to welcome the Rocky Fort Clubhouse, a brand new business in town,” says executive director Michelle Meatheringham. “They’re going to set up a pop-up play space for us.”
Meatheringham says four food trucks have also confirmed they will attend.
The chamber says vendor space is still available. Those interested can contact the office at 403-845-5450.
The trade show runs May 1 from noon to 8 p.m. and May 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Meatheringham says while last year’s event was well attended, warm weather may have kept some people away. She says organizers are hoping for an even larger turnout this year.

Jail and Bail returns
The Jail and Bail fundraiser will also return, organized by the West Country Family Services Association.
Local leaders and dignitaries will take part as “jailbirds,” raising money by posting bail throughout the day Friday.
Last year’s participants included former Rocky Mountain House acting mayor Len Phillips, former Clearwater County reeve Michelle Swanson and Moe from 94.5 Rewind Radio.
