After a slow start to the year, Rocky Mountain House home sales rebounded somewhat in March.
That’s according to the the latest Market Update from the Central Alberta Realtors Association, which showed 10 units selling in March, following only four selling in February.
Sale prices rose sharply in March to an average of $412,690, up from $223,125 in February. That was also up from the March 2025 average of $328,322.
Homes spent an average of 63 days on the market. That’s down slightly from 66 days in February, up from 24 days in March 2025.
It was slightly busier in Clearwater County where 17 units sold in March. That compares to 10 units selling in February, and 19 units selling in March 2025.
Similar to Rocky, the average sale price in the county shot up significantly. March saw county units selling at an average of $547,465, up from $396,100 in February and up from $446,100 in March 2025.
Properties spent an average of 63 days on the market in March. That’s down from 77 days in February, but up from 59 days in March 2025.
Across the entire central Alberta region, 395 homes sold in March. February saw 320 sales. That’s down from March 2025 which saw 427 units sold.
