Residents and visitors are invited to attend a Canada Day barbecue at the Nordegg Discovery Centre.

The event take place Saturday July 4 and will feature free food, games and family-friendly activities.

Originally slated to take place Saturday, June 27, the event was moved to July 4 due to a rainy forecast for late June.

Festivities begin at noon at the centre, located at 4002 Stuart Street in Nordegg.
