The Rocky Rams return to home ice was spoiled over the Thanksgiving Long Weekend as the ice was tilted in favour of their opponents in a pair of games.

Despite having a full roster, the team struggled against the second-place Red Deer Vipers. Goalie Maddyn McCrindle faced 64 shots from the upstart Vipers.

Final score: 8-0.

The next night, the Rams were once again faced with a depleted bench when they faced off against the Agra Risk Strathmore Wheatland Kings.

It was all Kings throughout the first 40 minutes with Strathmore leading 10-0. Rams players Riley Roberts and Tyler Hanson found the net in the third, but it was too little too late.

Final score: 14-2.

The 0-6 Rams will again hit the road for their next action against the Airdrie Techmation Thunder on Friday Oct. 16 at 8 p.m.
