The Town of Rocky Mountain House is responding to claims about an indecent exposure incident at the Co-operative Aquatic Centre.

A widely-circulated social media post alleged that an older man was removed by staff after he was caught performing a lewd act in the hot tub where children were present nearby.

The Town of Rocky Mountain House responded in a social media post of its own, saying no such incident occurred, calling the post false information.

Laura Button, the Town’s communications coordinator concurred, saying the incident is a complete fabrication. She says that if an incident of this nature did take place, it would have been dealt with quickly and seriously.

She adds, there was no person removed from the pool by staff.

We also reached out to RCMP, and were told no complaints regarding indecent exposure were lodged at any time in the past week.
