After a very successful past few years, Stuff The Cruiser returns to Rocky Mountain House on Tuesday Nov. 3.
Members of RCMP, Rocky Mountain House protective services and Fish & Wildlife will be set up at Sobeys, No Frills and Evergreen Co-op collecting donations for the Lord’s Food Bank.
They’ll be collecting donations on non-perishable food items as well as cash from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Last year’s Stuff The Cruiser was a big success, says Laura Button, communications coordinator with the Town of Rocky Mountain House, who adds, the 2025 drive brought in nearly 2,200 lbs of food along with $3,931 cash.
It was an even bigger year in 2024, as the initiative raised over 3,600 pounds of food donated along with over $6600 in cash — that was an estimated total of nearly $20,000.
Stuff The Cruiser was first held in Rocky Mountain House in 2018.
