Stuff The Cruiser 2026 raises over $6K in donations

Stuff The Cruiser organizers are expressing gratitude to the community as the 2026 drive raised nearly 1650 lbs of food along with $2,835 in cash.

Members of local RCMP, protective services and Fish & Wildlife were set up Nov. 3 at Sobeys, No Frills and Evergreen Co-op collecting the donations for the Lord’s Food Bank.

While organizers say every little bit helps and is appreciated, the food and cash collected was notably less than previous years.

In 2025, the event raised 2,181 lbs of food valued at $7,897, along with $3,931 cash.

It was an even larger haul in 2024 when a record 3,600 pounds of food was donated along with over $6,600 in cash — that was an estimated total of nearly $20,000.
