Snow clearing crews are shifting their focus to the north end of Rocky Mountain House, with residential snow removal scheduled to continue over the next several days.
Plows will be operating Tuesday and Wednesday in neighbourhoods near St. Matthew Catholic School. Streets affected include portions of 59 Street, 56 Street, 55 Street, and 57 Street, along with sections of 59 Avenue, 60 Avenue, and 62 Avenue.
Snow clearing will also take place across other north-end areas, including 61 Street north of 65 Avenue, as well as 66 Avenue, 67 Avenue, 69 Avenue, and 70 Avenue.
The town says signage will be posted 12 to 24 hours in advance of clearing, and residents are asked to remove vehicles from the street to allow crews to work efficiently.
Residential snow plowing began Jan. 12, starting in areas around Pioneer Middle School.
Rocky Mountain House maintains approximately 56 kilometres of paved roads, in addition to 25 kilometres of paved or gravelled alleys and 17 kilometres of walking trails.
