“Arrests” are already taking place all over Rocky Mountain House to fill a roster of jailbirds for the second annual Jail and Bail in support of West Country Family Service Association (WCFSA).
Those arrested will be behind bars during the Rocky Chamber Trade Show with bail set at $500 to support critical work of WCFSA.
Trade show attendees will notice many familiar faces taking part, including representatives from local businesses, community groups and media.
Marina Kulich, executive director of WCFSA, says the $500 bail is not a strict limit, but instead encourages everyone to have fun during their incarceration.
Still, she says the community showed up in a big way in 2025 as $9000 was raised during the event — a total the organization hopes to surpass in 2026.
“We’re hoping for another successful year of more than $10,000,” Kulich said.

Funds support programs serving residents in Rocky Mountain House, Eckville and Clearwater County, including transportation to medical appointments and Meals on Wheels.
Kulich said the funding is especially important as operating costs continue to rise.
Jail and Bail runs May 1-2 during the Rocky Chamber Trade Show.
