Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Week is back, once again supporting the purchase of new hospital equipment at the Rocky Mountain House Health Centre.
Volunteers have already been busy decorating cookies at both the north and south Rocky locations, with proceeds going to the foundation’s latest campaign, Your Rest Assured.
Launched in late 2025, the campaign aims to raise $585,000 to purchase dozens of modern beds and stretchers for the hospital.
About 80 per cent of the campaign’s funds have already been raised, says Shirley Hope, chair of the Rocky Health Foundation.
Hope was among a group of volunteers at the north Tim Hortons location April 27.
“The cookies are just rolling out of here this morning,” she says.
The 2025 campaign was highly successful, raising a total of $24,907.94 — putting the Rocky Health Foundation’s previous campaign, Heart of the Community, over the top of its $444,000 fundraising goal.
That campaign, which kicked off in November 2024, worked to raise funds for new cardiac monitors at the Rocky Mountain House Health Centre.
The equipment was installed in late 2025 and is now in service.
While no specific goal has been set for 2026, Hope anticipates another strong year at or above the 2025 total.
